February 15, 2021

When Dating Hurts: Discussion with author Bill Mitchell and University Panelists about Dating and Domestic Violence

Date: Wednesday, February 24, 2021

Time: 6-7:30 p.m. ET

Event details:

Please join OED and USGA for a live, virtual event aimed at raising awareness about domestic violence.  We are honored to have speaker and author Bill  Mitchell join us to share his story.  Bill tragically lost his daughter Kirstin to dating violence in 2015, and since then, he has passionately spoken out for education about the warning signs and dangerous consequences of dating violence. He has delivered speeches at high schools, colleges, and private companies. He has also been interviewed for TV, radio, podcasts, and webinars.

Our conversation with Bill will be followed by a panel discussion that will include representatives from Student Life/Counseling Services, the Department of Public Safety, and the Office of Equality and Diversity.

We look forward to an informative discussion with you on this important topic. We hope you will join us. Please email OEDprogramming@drexel.edu with any questions or for accommodations requests.
